Well Bottom Blues

Oh my God it's full of stars!

US Christianity is Cruelty

I have tried to keep politics off this page, but a recent post by one of my US Senators, Bill Cassidy, just blew a 50 amp fuse.

He supports the Blood Red states that rejected federal aid for summer meals for poor kids who don’t get school lunches or. breakfasts for months. He argued “compassion that cannot be sustained is not compassion.” That cruel logic, that we will not be taxed to feed starving childre will not pass through the eye of a needle.

The is no compassion in American Christianity only cruelty. The poor must kneel to their twisted Jesus for any scraps they deign to share, and the rest must do the same or be punished. By the government. They have blasphemed the First Amendment when a law is made at the demand of an establishment of religion that imposes the tenets of that religion on those who believe otherwise.
