Well Bottom Blues

Oh my God it's full of stars!

It must be made over

“We must realize that the world as it is isn’t worth saving; it must be made over.”
— John Andrew Rice a founder of Black Mountain college in an article published in Harper’s Monthly in 1936 about the Black Mountain

I encountered this reading a thin anthology of Black Mountain poets. It was not just a radical art school; it was a radical rejection of the status quo.

It’s time for the entire art world to once again take up that torch.
